Cultural Diversity Within Project Teams: Making it Work [Online]

You are here

Working within a virtual project team provides many challenges — even more so when our project team spans multiple countries and, cultures.

It can be frustrating when project team members and stakeholders from other countries and cultures do things in ways that are fundamentally different to your way, or their priorities in the workplace differ from your priorities. It may even appear as though they are sending you mixed messages.

In this 2-hour, live, instructor-led virtual session we will look at some of the challenges you might experience working within a multi-cultural project team, and explore tangible strategies for making it work.

The Cultural Diversity Within Project Teams workshop is appropriate for individuals who are:

  • Project Managers
  • Functional (line) managers
  • Project team members and subject matter experts working remotely or working with other team members who are in a remote location
  • Contractors and sub-contractors who are part of project teams

There is no prerequisite for this course. It functions as a stand-alone course.
