Richard Worr

Richard is Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) and Gold Seal Certificated in both estimating and project management and is continuing his education at the University of York (B. Comm). Richard is licenced as a Master Electrician for the Province of Ontario and holds a Certificate in Adjudication for Administrative Agencies, Boards & Tribunals through Osgoode Hall of Law & York University.

Richard’s 50-year career began as an apprentice in the Ontario construction industry, developed to Project Analyst, Chief Estimator, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Regional Area Manager. He has worked for construction contractors on billion to multi-million-dollar projects in the mass transit, steel, paper, food, mining, chemical, power generation, automotive, airport and gas plant industries as well as major arenas and convention centres, prisons and water treatment plants in the USA, Canada, Bahamas, and Bermuda.

Richard is a consultative senior manager with international contracting knowledge experienced in the ICI unionized construction industry. A leader with a technical background responsible for project contract & claims management, cost control, estimating and client relations. His demonstrated strengths include Strategic Planning & Leadership, Revenue & Profit Growth, Contract Administration, Estimating & Design Preparation, Articulate Educator, Technical Industry Knowledge, and an Organized Planner & Scheduler.
