Ron Foster

Ron Foster is a Senior Consultant with Procept Associates Ltd., a premier provider of consulting and training in project management and business analysis. His expertise is in performing risk assessments and auditing construction projects and programs within the transportation, utility, energy and government sectors. Ron is also adept at conducting risk assessments of IT projects and IT security controls in the financial sector. Typical consulting assignments are assessments of project management controls, developing guidelines for project management and control, and designing training workshops.

Ron has developed project management courses in a variety of industries through professional associations, and directly to corporate customers, such as Ontario Power Generation and the Government of Nunavut. All seminars and consulting assignments are consistent with the body of knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

He holds a B.A. and is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Project Management Professional with the risk management professional (RMP) specialization.  He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and has his CompTIA Security+ designation. Ron has over 25 years of work experience as an audit and risk management professional.
