Procept Associates Ltd.is a premier provider of professional training programs specializing in Project Management, Agile Management, Business & Data Analysis, Change Management and Leadership & Management Development. Our consulting division has been offering strategic consulting services in our areas of specialization since 1983. Our wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary has been offering management training and consulting since 1963. Since that time, Procept and its subsidiaries have taught over one million people from over 17,000 organizations. We employ over 70 qualified, accredited instructors across Canada.

Procept was a Charter Global Registered Education Provider with the Project Management Institute (PMI) from the start of the program in 1998/1999 until the program’s termination in 2020, was the sixth REP for PMI worldwide and the first in Canada. Procept continues on as an Authorized Training Provider (ATP) in PMI’s trainer accreditation program. Procept is also an Accredited Training Provider with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE International), many of its courses are accredited by the Canadian Construction Association for its Gold Seal program, and a number have been accredited by the Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC) for its various project management certification programs. Procept was the first Charter Endorsed Education Provider in Canada for the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA) and continues on as a Premier-Level EEP, is an
ITIL Accredited Training Organization (ATO) through AXELOS, an ATO through APMG International (primarily for its change management programs), and an ATO through ScrumStudy.

Procept’s subsidiary TidalShift has been in business since 1992 originally focused on project management training and development, under the name SPM Group. In 2007 at the request of clients the company added leadership and team development to its core offerings. In 2012 it introduced Change Management to the curriculum. 2014 saw the renaming of the company to TidalShift Inc. and new brand positioning, focusing on improving the performance of individuals, teams and organizations through its Organization Lift Model™ and award-winning Learning Solutions Process™. TidalShift’s leadership development offerings have now grown to become a significant part of the business. We provide training and consulting directly to organizations, as well as through the continuing education departments of over a dozen higher-education institutions across Canada, the USA, and overseas. Many of our instructors have advanced degrees including many Masters-level degrees and several PhDs. Our instructors are currently teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree-credit programs in business and engineering faculties in Canada and Europe.
