While achieving agility requires a new mindset, it also requires the adoption of specific practices designed to help deal with uncertainty and change.
In this half-day course, participants will learn how work can be structured differently to better adapt to volatility, uncertainty, change, and ambiguity (VUCA). Those with no prior agile experience will learn specific tools and techniques to help work – and manage – in an agile manner.
Participants in this interactive session will learn to explain the need for agile, describe how various agile frameworks cover different portions of the project lifecycle, use the Scrum framework to structure team work, and understand how Scrum can be applied in various work environments (construction, software development, process change, etc.).
This course is aimed at anyone who is new to agile and who is interested in learning more.
The suggested pre-requisite for this course is “Being Agile: Understanding the Agile Mindset and Team Dynamics”.
Participants in this course receive a course workbook including all course presentation materials and The Agile Glossary.
