Aligning strategy with execution is critical to any organization’s success and a key aspect of Scaled Agile Framework®. With a Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) approach, one can collaborate across silos, empower teams, and organize around value to adapt to what customers want, faster.
This two-day course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes. The course provides the guidance and tools attendees need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams. Participants will learn how to connect portfolio strategy and initiatives to the agility planning and execution of work, how to integrate feedback from participatory budgeting, and how to adapt to change while maintaining the funding vision and roadmap.
This course answers how do I connect strategy to execution, how do I manage flow and solve perpetual overload, how can I fund and govern dynamically, and how does Lean Portfolio Management fit into SAFe?
At the end of this course, participants will be given an opporutnity to write the Certified SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management exam.

This course is intended for experienced individuals involved in project funding and prioritization decisions, and those applying to have such decisions made.
There is no prerequisite to attend the course.
Students will be provided with a course workbook and one year of SAFe Studio access to help them prepare to take the certification exam, claim their digital badge, and access other Scaled Agile Framework tools. At the end of the course, participants will also be provided with access to the SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification exam.
