In partnership with the Canadian Institute for Mining, Procept Associates is pleased to be a sponsor of the first MECA (Mining Engagement Conference for Advancement) Symposium in 2019 at Sudbury, Ontario. The conference focused on soft-skill development. It was a place to discover how to engage mining employees, acquire tools to support employees in connecting with their work, and foster discussions that will contribute to creating a more engaged workforce.
The goal was to create a working environment where people could take positive action to further their personal advancement and contribute to the growth of their organizations as a whole.
This was in direct alignment with Procept’s values and strategic vision. With extensive years of experience training the mining industry, Procept is proud it was a part of this important event. Procept is the service provider to the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University for their Project Management Certificate program, who is also co-sponsoring the event.
Procept Senior Associate, Bill Richardson, presented a workhop at the event: 'Why Distress Tolerance Matters".
