PMI Restructures its PMI-CP Courses Resulting in Faster Completion and Lower Prices

Today, the Project Management Institute (PMI) announced that it has lowered the educational requirements for its PMI-CP exam to 21 hours from 28 hours.  Aligned with this change, it has reduced the durations of the PMI-developed PMI-CP courses. The core program now consists of two one-day courses and two half-day courses.  To this program, Procept recommends another optional half-day exam preparation course that it has developed.

In response to these changes, Procept has adjusted the duration, pricing, and PDU assignments it has published for the courses making up the PMI-CP bundle.  The Construction Project Communications course remains at a duration of one day, but Procept has reduced its price by $50. The Construction Scope and Change Order Management course and the Construction Interface Management course have been reduced to one half day duration each, with a significant drop in price, and the Construction Contract and Risk Management course remains at a duration of one day with a similar $50 price drop.  Together with Procept's half-day PMI-CP Exam Prep course, Procept discounts the bundle if purchased all at once, with individuals saving $225 on the bundle plus another $225 if booked early for a total of $450 in savings!
